May Kabir

I started watching this yesterday on a whim. I did binge watch most of series 1, but after just finishing it decided I won't watch series 2. Why? Because I'm not sure what else there is left to say, and also I don't think I really want to know what happens next to any of the characters. All of the characters were annoying and unlikeable, also very one dimensional. The plot doesn't make much sense when you really think about it- the most ludicrous being episode 5 and 6. I don't understand the character motivations at all especially for Georgia. Such a perplexing character and exhausting so I guess it's good she isn't in series 2. I suppose if you're extremely bored and have time to kill then you can give it a watch. But I don't really recommend it.

I have been watching it from the start and still am because I want to see the end but honestly, the show is quite dull. It tries to be mysterious, but it isn't all that interesting to pull it off. None of these characters are particularly interesting or enjoyable to watch. I find myself getting irritated by Kidman's breathy line deliveries. It's all more about her sighing, sobbing, and crying prettily than anything else. There's just no substance to this show

7/10 Just watched it. Was waiting for a good copy online to stream. It wasn't as bad as some people make it out to be. If gore and swearing bothers you, this is NOT the movie for you. If you're looking to be spooked by jump scares, or have your thoughts provoked, Not for you. Mindless gory entertainment. And some people might find humorous at times. I enjoyed it for the most part. I guess it slides into predictability, but that's fine by me. Still more entertaining than most horror films these days.

Badly made series. It could have been interesting had it been written better- but sadly that was not the case. The writing and execution were awful. The dialogue too. The acting was subpar. Apart from the cast being "good looking" there isn't much merit to the show. The main character only has her looks and nothing else. She's completely uninteresting- but for some reason the women hate her and men love her, go figure. I like supernatural shows and I enjoy trash tv, but Tidelands seriously had nothing much going for it. Again, if it had been written better it could have been compelling or at least entertaining. All in all, it was a huge waste of time. So if you're just looking for something to have playing in the background and zone out to, this can be it.
