El Kartun

It's a fun movie, established enough lore to be interested in more. The characters are charismatic enough. The acting is good for what the movie is (considering the era)... I really wish there was a sequel.

Good but not great, and that's OK. I tried watching this on its own merit without thinking of the original series. In such a way it is intriguing and there are good building blocks for more. The world building is there, Special effects are very good though some very clear green screen moments going on, but over all the story seemed rushed, though there were a few good moments and a very strong finish. Can't wait to see more.

The movie drags too long It starts off with good energy. If you are not too familiar with boliwood as a genre, it's a bit hard to adopt specially our cultural differences and stance towards marriage and relationships. The story is a bit gripping, it is a comedy (so don't take it too seriously) It was worth the watch on my hindu/bollywood movie night... But I doubt I'll be watching it again.

Animation and effects are top notch, Cast voice acting is spot on save for Adam lambert as Julius Caesar, which seemed not so good casting - but I can see why they cast him. The story was... Predictable and.. Long... OK. Predictable isn't necessarily bad, and the movie isn't that long but it kindof drags. They made a kindof boring movie... No laughs nor chuckles nor excitement ... the first 20 min or so is good but then they lost me. Musical number was meh (yes there is some music here). The live action scenes were good but not long enough to save the movie. As a former playmobil kid more than a Lego kid it was nice to see those toys on the screen but most people are Lego kids, not playmobil kids so there's no nostalgia to save the movie. Good for little kids (and I mean little kids).
