The movie had a lot to work off, and a lot going for it, with geeky, likeable poc being the main characters... but it just seemed disappointing to me. There’s no character development or satisfaction in the at all, especially the ending. I looked on these reviews previous to watching it and I got really excited, expecting some brilliant, sci-fi timetravel movie also addressing the issue of police brutality. I’m just disappointed it was executed so badly. After watching, I came back on here to see the other reviews and it’s all just praise for the movie that just seemed awful to me, the majority of people praising the movie are only doing it because of the progressiveness of the film, which just seems dishonest to me as this film is just plain awful. 3/10
