Do not care about whatever you've heard and go into it stone cold. A masterpiece which was ahead of its time and hate-wagoned for a glitchy launch. It's not perfect, not by a long shot. But you see the last embers of a unique series before it was traded in for generic RPGs. Not saying I didn't enjoy Origins, but revisiting the title made me realize what the series lost.
The graphics manage to make me gasp every now and then. Holds pretty good even today for a game 6 years old. The combat is perhaps most realistic through the series, albeit being challenging. The animation and mo-cap in cutscenes are stunning. Parkour can be a tad unrealistic at times but otherwise a delight. Arno as a protagonist is pretty interesting and charming.
It's a good game peeps. Not the best hours of your life but you'll not regret it. It stands for everything that made Assassin's Creed Assassin's Creed.
