This is more about the "family" instead of her. They bashed J Lo because she was Puerto Rican and not Mexican...although if it weren't for the talents of J Lo and that movie most in the US would never have know how wonderful Selena was. THAT movie showed clips of Selena and they made them look so much alike that it was impressive. It made me a fan. Such a tragedy. But the family now wants to make it about THEM! Without Selena...they were just another band family...much like the Jackson's without Michael and at least a few of them were talented by nature. Story line the same as the Jackson's driving, ex-band player dad pushes his kids into the spotlight to make money. Dad makes Selena drop out of school cause nobody can tell him how to raise his kids????? Mom just goes along with everything like a puppet! Did dad even work? Nope...not watching past the first viewing. B rated quality. Lacks luster!!! Boring.

This is an unforgettable movie. Can't wait to see it again. EB was terrific.
