This is a powerful work that uses photos, poetry and art to present case studies of the horror as well as the joy of the human experience, Also, the need for people that have good times to reach out to others with psychological problems and help them is stressed. It is dedicated to Tennessee Williams. I am sure he would approve.

I loved the Johnson family's journey as it is forced to show courage in meeting anti Jewish neighbors. The reader learns so much about the daily life and emotions of the generation that had to face the horrible challenges of that critical year of 1944. Grandma Mendell becomes the character that I loved the most. She becomes the beloved Jewish Grandmother who symbolizes truth and courage.

I found B.G. Webb's insight into the human mind and soul remarkable. He gave me new ways of looking at common folk . And, he does it through art, photography, poetry and essays. Quite a remarkable book. Quite a writer.

This is a very creative and funny book for those who know the classics and enjoy naughty humor. Shakespeare would love it. If you like funny parodies, you will get a hoot out of this book. So, if you know your Shakespeare, Chaucer and Doyle and Dumas and other great writers, you will love this very delightful book.
