I want so badly to love this show, but the first season's are so " white". There's literally NO brown skin in this show, even in scenes where they are in Africa and the Middle East. It seems to me that maybe the producers are a little uneducated about biblical ethnicities. (Or maybe color biased) How can my children understand geographically where these stories are taking place, if all they see are caucasians. It's pretty sad. Even the non biblical characters are white...wow. Next, there's no scripture. If super book is the word of God, it would great for kids to hear it. At least reference where there story is coming from in the word of God. Perhaps the main characters can return to their bible and read/ quote the scriptures once they return from their adventure. The devil is also very scary in these. My 8 year old was freaked out. God has not given us a spirit of fear so I don't think he needs to be that intense of a character. It just lacks luster in these areas. The animation is beautifully done and the story lines are pretty good. It could just use some serious tweaking. 🤷🏾‍♀️
