Lydia Goschke – Google

(4/19/23) Re-watched this time specifically for Taec-yeon. Recently saw a few of his films and simply had to see his performance in this one again. He truly is amazing! If there was a 10 star rating I'd definitely give this series one. Very worth watching. It has absolutely everything anyone needs to enjoy this one....top notch actors, great story line, well-paced, and a roller coaster ride of emotions. Will definitely be on my "watch again (and again)" list. Thanks so much to the subtitlers who did a great job.

Just finished binge watching this show....which is something I rarely. It was outstanding! It just "caught at my heart" and couldn't leave it. Wonderful chemistry between M/F leads, great story. It has all the elements you need without any "fillers" (which is something C-dramas often do), so the pacing was excellent and 24 episodes just right. Acting/story/actors/romance...all top notch. Do Not Miss this show...it will leave you very happy!

This is absolutely amazing. Ji Chang Wook is outstanding and the story is fast-paced, powerful and brutal. Don't look for romance in this (you don't need it), it is a pure action film........the story and acting keep you spellbound. Kudos to actors/directors/screen writers....if I could give it 20 stars I would! It's a shame this isn't offered on Viki or Kocowa....I had to dig to find this incredible film.

Incredible drama, very well scripted, beautifully performed with 2 wonderful young actors as "leads" and sterling performances by supporting cast. My advice, even if it seems too slow at times, do not FF....just appreciate the pacing of character development, emotional and romantic development spiced with palace intrigue at it's finest (and acknowledged bows to women, who are definitely the more vicious of the species but sooooo wonderfully subtle). I'm biting at the bit waiting for the last episodes to be released.

This show is absolutely wonderful with fine performances by all . So much of the first episodes had me rolling on the floor laughing.....specifically the interaction between the two main actresses! The story line is well done, nicely paced, romance well done also. Just excellent entertainment....in fact I'm on my second binge watching of the series. Do NOT pass this one by. And much thanks to the subtitle teams who make my enjoyment possible.

Absolutely wonderful and well worth the viewing. Very original story line, actors' performances were top notch! The subtitle team did a great job as well. If you are looking for a series that will be worth seeing more than once, definitely watch this. It's a quality, well-produced series, hits all the right spots on romance, mystery, intrigue, action. Why Netflix stopped featuring reviews on their site is ridiculous but if they would rather have their stupid "thumbs up" icon, then I vote this one with 10 "thumb's up"!!

I will not hesitate to say I thoroughly enjoyed this. They finally showcase the multi-talented cast of this feature and highlight their other sterling qualities besides being fine actors. Musicals don't seem to be common fare in K-drama world so again, I appreciate the diversity. Very well filmed, choreography nicely done, and well, Ji Chang-wook has an excellent singing voice that shouldn't be ignored. Hwang In-youp is another favorite of mine and although I'm not familiar with Choi Sung-eun's works I will look for more of hers. Finished 6 episodes and it was wonderful. Will definitely watch it again. The storyline was good and I really am hoping they do a Season 2....please, please, please!
