So much potential, such a let down. Book is awesome - characters were incredible. Original mini-series was really good (room for improvements). This is a trainwreck of a thin story line. Changes in story and characters - NOT to improve on the original series, or add to their characters - but JUST to change. Hemingford Home is a retirement center? Lets make more roles female to be "woke"? I could understand modernizing to account for current technologies, world events since the original story - but changes, JUST to make changes, are unnecessary, and take away from the original classic.
