Awesome heavy metal movie! After have had already purchased pin buttons of this movie from Etsy because of it simply struck my interest and looked cool I already knew I would like it before I even watched it and finally watched it online and its amazing! I've given it 9 stars on IMDB because only things that were a bit unsatisfying is the direction in which the relationship the metal fan and the metal singer he looked up to turned and feel like there could have been more to the Sammy Curr character and more scenes with him actually in it. Other than that, the movie is awesome for the message it sends out in the end is sometimes the person you feel like you can relate to turns out you can't actually relate at all and the message of the music hot shots really aren't anything without their fans and something that some of the people that actually make it big forget about is that their fans are whats most important. I also didn't really like the radio man dying because really thought things were going to get even more interesting when it came to the scene where the last song was going to be broadcasted on the radio and feel like its kind of a shame but at the same time the man said he knew him so he probably had a hunch of the things that would happen with that smart look he looks at the kid with its like he already knew but didn't want to ruin how happy how big of a fan the kid was...also giving powerful message of not always is a person you look up to is actually a good person...

Wish that I knew about this movie earlier! I found it online and watched it! I saw that the artist for the poster has also done Star Wars artwork...this movie is better than Star Wars. Fantastic movie, one of the best I've watched recently. I've given it 9 stars on IMDB only lacking one star for me because wish there was more to the ending but thats how I am if the ending is insufficient for me then affects how I view a movie....but at the same time the ending also ends for a possibility for a sequel...that would be really cool. Definitely a must watch and wish that it was more popular it should be more well known because its very good. I love the story line, I love everything about it, just wish there was more to the ending and another reason why the ending makes it seem like there would be a sequel is because they both seem like they remember the same train man in the ending as the same train man in her dream the first time he entered a dream with no equipment but they just sort of brush it off which couldn't believe that...but then again I guess its possible as well that it was pure coincidence...who knows...

Don't know whether or not to put a thumbs up or down...very interesting movie...I don't know but as strange as the movie turned out in the ending almost prefer it to have stayed on its first initial course with her husband even though he came back as a younger man because even though he gets some of his memory taken away after he falls its still the same soul of her husband which is why the movie is very strange and the ending very unsettling its like the entire 20 some years the woman chooses not to pursue his best man and best friend because she still has her heart set on him but then when he comes back its like they rather have him in the picture dating his daughter like they know its still his soul but once he loses some memory its like they don't even care that its the same soul that created his daughter and they act like its better for him to be with her even the guardian angel from heaven...I would have liked the movie if she had more kids with him even as coming back as a younger man...its just so messed up the entire thing and especially the ending and even more messed up that everyone is happy in the ending...I don't really get why they changed the plot like that...to me its more sickening to see the same exact soul of the man that created you be with you than back with your mother...

Had to finally watch this from seeing everyone else talking about it online.Took me a little bit into the movie but then I was really into it. The beginning is kind of really cheesy and had no idea where it was going but its a really neat love story capturing a once in a lifetime career and a once in a lifetime love..kind of a very unique capture...not many people reach the level of success for higher education and career and probably even less people ever find true love/find a love that works out...and thats whats really cool about this film is it really did a great job capturing 2 rare things in life that very few people end up with a great successful career and very few people end up with a successful love relationship

First movie I rented online and its amazing! Never heard of it before but so glad I came across it! It should be more recognized! 5 Stars and above for 80s love story! I cried! I love this movie it sends out the message that its better to be alone than with the wrong person...and it shows how dating is supposed to be you make friends first and get to know people first...so many great messages in this movie...be yourself, stand up for yourself, work hard, don't be afraid to pursue your passions and what you want, a lot of great respectable real women and men values. True friendships vs false ones, the fakeness of people and in the end people show their true selves...true love isn't *just* about sex...all great morals...its not all about looks and status...so many things I love...amazing movie with great ending but wish there was more to the ending! Shows what a real man is!
