Morbius is my soul mate, my one in a morbillion. I was morb across the morbiverse just to see this movie again. I definitely consider this a classic in the superhero genre of films. It's a fresh take on it and it's nice to get a superhero that isn't from DC or Marvel. Hellboy is the star of the show. Ron Perlman does an excellent job at portraying the titular protagonist. The story itself is entertaining and pretty good but I've seen better. The reason it gets 5 stars is because of the visual effects. Mr. Del Toro did a fantastic job in this category. I am a big fan of the use of practical effects, and the ones used here a really good. It's nice to see that Abe and Hellboy look real and not like a bunch of CGI like other characters do in sci-fi movies these days. The puppets for the creatures are amazing. You really appreciate how much the artists and Del Toro were doing, and it just gives the film the extra boost for five stars. If you want action, a smart mouthed hero, and awesome effects, look no further than Hellboy. By the way, the same could be said about the sequel. It's just as awesome and the effects are great as well. Story-wise, the sequel is a bit better. But both movies deserve the five star rating in my opinion. Give them a watch

Look, to be honest this movie was not the best. But it wasn't the worst, either. If you're willing to overlook some glaringly obvious holes in the plot then this film is enjoyable. It had good visuals and was very engaging, athough the story itself did feel rather weak. Overall I'd say it was an ok film, and a good way to pass the time.

This movie started off promising, and delved into the uncanny valley at the end. Not only was it a gross misrepresentation of what rape victims go through, but it was made by a man who portrayed it as a man would; a story of "REVENGE!" and "Growth!" as if rape is something a woman must go through to become strong. In addition to this, the constant plot twists would have been great if not for the extreme shifts in tone it constantly waved in our faces. The music changes, the way the actors held themselves and acted, the strange (subtle) plot twists that seemed so forced, it all just was extremely disappointing. The first 2/3 was phenomenal and very well done.. and then it just devolves into anarchy masked by a feminist quote on quote "theme". It had such good potential and then it just went through the roof with implausibility and insanity. It makes me sad. I'm no master critic, but this movie was not on good in the slightest. It certainly doesn't hold a candle to masterpieces such as The Village or American Pyscho. Both utilizing plot twists in a beautiful and meaningful way. Honestly if M. Night Shyamalan had directed this I doubt it would have come out some terrible

As someone who deals with mental illness, this show felt like a second home to me. So many characters had so many different relatable aspects, and the last two episodes of the series was one of the most powerful visual depictions of depression I've ever seen. I never, n e v e r cry when watching television, but on multiple occasions did this series make me do so. If I could rate it more than 5/5 stars I would. Its truly a modern masterpiece.
