Before we say I’m a bot, I will confess gameplay was atrocious. I had literally completed tasks and still has an animation of me dying while the cutscene dialogue played. The story is choppy and non-linear. What redeemed this whole game was the brilliance of the characters. The first stalker is a lot of fun and leaves you on your toes while also feeling extremely sympathetic towards their situation. The ability to fight back, hide and really maneuver your surroundings led to some really great albeit choppy gameplay. I think had they spent more time playing through before release we’d of been blessed with a truly amazing game and after a few more patches I’m sure that’s exactly how it will be remembered. I look forward to more games of this structure and I hope they spend more time in development because fans understand waiting (cyberpunk ring a bell). Overall I’d suggest giving it a playthrough. You will enjoy it if you like survival horror just be patient cause the glitches can really aggravate you at times.
