The Horse Whisperer is indeed a masterpiece..it holds your attention all the way through and does not disappoint or let you down. The characters are real and in this film you can fully appreciate the way in which Annie Maclean and daughter(Grace) take a bold step toward finding resolution for their crippled horse Pilgrim. Anyone else would have to decide to put the horse down but not Annie Maclean...She is indeed a strong willed woman and will not tolerate being told what to expect! Having the courage to travel 3000 miles with her distraught daughter takes incredible guts...but she is indeed equal to the task of finding The Horse Whisperer. Tom Booker works his unique and very subtle magic on both the horse and this troubled family and, as anyone can see, he does indeed succeed wildly! Also, being filmed in the foothills of The Rockies invites the grandeur which is also a great backdrop for a wonderful movie like this! Top Notch Stuff!
