i had to read this for school. because i was force to read this i immediately deduct one star! but the book was mid. they did a good job drawing suspense and mystery, especially considering i already knew the ending/ reveal. it was so depressing lol. even the people receiving the organs were so miserable. AND NO ONE BETTER SAY I DIDN'T GET THE THEMES!!! because i did. compliance, moriality, identity, blah blah blah, they were handled pretty well! sucks the book just made me sad and not in a good way. a i better get a good mark on this essay i stg.

literally put me to sleep. my english teacher made me read it and that act will not go forgiven. the author refused to satisfy the audience's needs by incorporating sex scenes. plus everyone is so normal considering its so far in the future, normal meaning boring. it was so unnecessarily set in the future, the novel taking place in 300 years doesn't change anything, except for the book falling into a dystopian futuristic category. bad. bad bad bad. legit no one i talked to has liked it. so :I.
