I’m only 16 and I didn’t actually know about the tragic murders and that the film had some truth to it so when I watched it seemed kind of odd. However after conducting research after the first screening of it i watched. I quickly realised the level of truth behind the film and respect the way Q.T. Messed with our timeline and history. It’s ballsy. I love how no matter what happens in the 1st and 2nd act the film was always leading up the events that unfolded on the night of August 9th 1969, however Q.T. Inserts 2 fictional characters into our timeline (excellently portrayed by DiCaprio and Pitt) and there story intertwines with our history and gives us a comedic and gory alternate history for the night of August 9th 1969. If you are looking for a story to follow, you will be bored watching this film. This is a collection of story’s from different characters perspectives that barely intertwine in the films conclusion but for the viewer to recall history while watching the film and realise the real meaning behind every scene, is truely special. 4.5/5
