Im a big fans of The raid 1 and 2. remember that scene when Iko grab the bad guy head and smash to the floor on the broken door in the raid 1? Yup thats what I expected.
I was really looking forward to watch the night comes for us with Iko and Joe back again and Dian Sastro also in it. it was kind of exciting. but unfortunately I find that this movie was kind of disappointment.
From my opinion, the action was violence, the did trying to make it look realistic, but the pace was too slow for me. Forget about the storyline, was not that solid.
Nothing to do with the acting, I think all the actors did what they did best. The make up, the special effect team, stunts and camera shot is done beautifully on most scene.
i pause few times while watching this. I cook some maggi, eat some chocolate, play with instagram and In facts, I type all of this before the final scene between Iko and Joe. Literally watch this for the sake of finishing the movie.
This movie remind me the hype of Batman vs Superman movie and how slow the fight scene is.
I personally think that this movie should be a fast paced movie. Just like The Raid one and two.
This movie is a perfect example of why sometimes is important to not over stuffed things. a perfect example of less is more. Hate me if you want, this is just my two cents opinions.
