Seen the first season only. Entertaining, often exciting but too many clichés to merit 5 stars. The character of president Tom Kirkman is well acted by Kiefer Sutherland but never quite seems believable. The sub plot with Maggie Q as the FBI agent on the trail of the terrorists is entertaining and at times gripping but again is unrealistic: going it alone to take on a terrorist network without proper backup and seemingly fearless most of the time isn’t really based on reality. The depiction of the political life in the White House and how the senate and congress are rebuilt is interesting but sometimes it just feels that things are a bit too spun out and long-winded. A fun way to pass time during lockdown though.
