Overall excruciatingly poor attempt at a remake. The casting was terrible, mediocre acting, all the musical performances were painful and very stiff worse than watching a low end Broadway show attempt to sing and dance. They left out many parts of the original and got other parts completely wrong. Every "comical" (if you can even call it that) scene felt as if they were trying as hard as possible to make you laugh without being remotely funny. I've seen better acting in condom commercials. To say I was utterly disappointed would be a drastic understatement if you grew up watching the original DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME WITH THIS GARBAGE.
