There is far too much emphasis on human relationship in this melodrama. Whole episodes given over to the ins and outs of the main characters and their family ups and downs. Time totally wasted, because what we wanted, what we expected to see, was humans dealing with the danger and drama that space travel actually delivers effortlessly. Instead we get a very poor soap opera that has almost nothing to do with space travel. It’s now the fifth episode, and I’m desperately reaching for the abort button.
