A true piece of art. I don't know how to express what I felt reading it. It was such a unique reading experience. The one that leaves you content at the same time devastating. And evelyn is so complicated but hard not to love. Absolutely fantastic. If you haven't read it yet, please do read it.

It's the story of Christine who calls herself 'ladybird'. It's not just her story it's the story of many teenagers in and around the age of 18. Their confusions, fights with mothers, desires, dreams and hopes. I guess it's like that for everyone. The desire to venture out into a new world to experience new things, to go somewhere else to do college and becoming our own person. And at last the realization that our happiness lies within us and we don't have to go long distances to find it.
Ladybird's journey is not an unfamiliar one it's something we all have lived or living through. Such wonderfully the movie has shown it all. I personally think you should give it a watch definitely.
