Snyder knows how to produce a lot of footage, but he doesn’t know what to do with it next. This could probably be chopped up into a decent 90 minute film. However, as is, pacing is weird, parts are ridiculous and over the top, and the end result is a mess of boredom with a few interesting notes here and there. Snyder needs to learn restraint, and could learn a thing or twenty from other filmmakers.
