Don’t bother if you are sharing a switch. Whoever boots up the game first is in charge of everything. Anyone who plays it after just gets to pick flowers and cut down trees, no objectives or missions for them. Inexcusable on Nintendo’s part to only allow one island per console, especially on a console with expandable memory like the switch. Just a cheap and downright evil ploy to sell more consoles. Also, no unlimited cloud backups on this specific game via Nintendo Online unlike all other games. This means you can’t access your island from a different console.
