Unbelievable movie. The imagery is beautiful. Kind of timely and appropriate as far as the issues it tackles. Great princess addition to the Disney realm.

It’s a little all over the place but gets more compelling and sincere as it goes along. Thought some parts were outlandish while others were portrayed perfectly and beautifully. Z’s performance and range is consistently incredible, and the other actors do their best to equal her. Visually raw from a teen’s POV and experiences where sexuality, addiction, and relationships are explored in layers. Overall I like the show and can’t wait for season 2!

I love Anna K and Sam Rockwell is awesome, so I enjoyed their pairing in this movie. It’s a fun movie that’s now on Netflix. I don’t think it was perfectly written, but the acting was superb between Rockwell, Kendricks and Roth plus the supporting cast. Martha always appeared to be different from her peers and her grappling with her own identity and moral code was believable and entertaining. And there is no doubt Rockwell’s moral code was flawed and his mental health compromised by his time spent serving the CIA, so if you accept those premises at face value then you should enjoy this movie. I love it for what it is and would highly recommend despite the critic ratings saying otherwise.

Saw this on Netflix. Made me uncomfortable in the beginning but was on the edge of my seat at the end. Never heard of it until I watched it. That said it’s well worth the time. Good acting and excellent twist on the genre, which I enjoy nonetheless.
