SEAL Team is by far the most realistic and accurate military show on TV. As a retired Senior Chief Petty Officer (not a SEAL) I do wish they would be more accurate on Jason Hayes' dress blue uniform, though he rarely wears it. As a Master Chief with over 16 years service, his chevrons and hashmarks should be gold not red and the hashmarks should be 7" long that chiefs rate not the 5" designed for petty officers. I think Boreanaz does an outstanding portrayal of a SEAL Master Chief, but I wish they wouldn't make him look at times like a little boy wearing his dad's dress blues.
