I loved this book. At first it was hard to get into but then I couldn't stop reading and became very fond of the heroine...and curious about Meiling..and all the characters were so well rounded...I could almost see them like watching a Movie. Was this ever turned into a movie or play? We are having our Book Club meeting to discuss this novel this week. I read the book twice to savor it properly.
