This show is a huge let down. Cricket is huge in this show and the game parts are poorly directed and executed. Very very casual. I could speak in detail, but the bigger issue is the script. Too many characters with too many things to do. No proper focus on the leads too. Also, cringy and clichéd. Same old Rich guy bullying village boys, corporates wanting to buy a piece of land, same old Mumbai City problems. And the duration of each episode is so little and just 6 episodes for this season. It rushes with everything so quickly it doesn't allow anything to develop. As a huge cricket fan I'm very disappointed. But it was pointed out to me by a friend that the book deals kore with the emotions and cricket is just in the background. Here it's the opposite. Its a fusion of movies like Chamatkar, Iqbal, Lagan, Ferrari Ki Sawari etc. Name any cricket movie or show in India and you'll see a little of it here. It's even more disappointing because this potentially could have had international reach to the cricketing nations. Still, it's watchable. Just 6 episodes of 20 odd minutes, like a movie.
