I was so excited about this movie but the overwhelming amount of time they used in the film to focus on racial tension in the city should have been spent giving us backstory on the main characters like Junior and Johnny's relationship, Livia, Carmella, etc. It was just dumb. James Gandolfini deserves so much better.
