Good movie. I keep seeing people complain about it not being historicaly accurate, but for what it shows, it was. It pays attention to small details. Like when a character shoots off a flare, and walks of a minute or two later, and we see the flare falling in the background. Or if a character shoots his gun, and doesn't chamber another bullet, he has to chamber it later in the movie. People say it feels like a video game. But honestly, it didn't, if it did it was supposed to, the movie is supposed to make you feel like you were in it.
I saw someone complain about how a truck would not have been able to get out of the mud. First, the trucks back then are NOTHING compared to todays trucks. The ones back then were light, and, while not powerful, would still be able to get out of that hole with THAT many people pushing in it. And it hurts me to see people say. " just send a plane over to drop the message and the movie would end in 5 minutes." No, runners like this DID exist in WW1. You can't just send a plane over, drop a message, and boom, war is over, allies win. I suggest that you do some research before complaing about "Inaccuracies."
The movie does get a little slow, but it is an interesting type of slow.
