Margaret Hoover sets the right balance between asking tough questions of her guests and remaining cordial. I consider myself a liberal and a Democrat, but I watch her show to hear an articulate presentation of conservatism in striving to find a balance. The fact that she is a descendent of Herbert Hoover adds to the intrigue of her show, from my perspective. Also, she frequently refers to the late William F. Buckley Jr., and shows clips of him. I always liked his sense of humor, even if I disagreed with his politics. Like William F. Buckley Jr., Margaret Hoover often makes me believe she is the most intelligent person in the room, even when she interviews stellar guests.
