This is an epic good-vs-evil adventure that’s packed with fantastical lore, dazzling visuals, and a non-stop, heart-pounding pace. It tackles some serious themes—death, tyranny, revenge, loyalty, family, and heroism—all while keeping you thoroughly entertained 💥. The film may have a simple plot, but it’s anything but predictable. Alex Proyas keeps you on your toes with challenging obstacles and thrilling twists at every turn. And those visual effects? Absolutely stunning! Far from cheesy, the world they created draws you in with epic production design and eye-popping colors. From metallic suits to mystical creatures, everything is just so impressive 🌟. Now, the cast? They nail it. The chemistry between characters is spot-on—from the slick thief Bek to the fierce god Horus, and of course, Gerard Butler as the ruthless Set is pure villainous perfection. But let’s be real—while the performances are great, it could’ve used more diversity. A less whitewashed cast would’ve been a much-needed improvement 👀. That was my only issue, but it’s a big one. All in all, Gods of Egypt is an action-packed thrill ride that doesn’t deserve the low ratings. Forget the critics—it’s epic, fun, and a true cinematic spectacle ⚔️🔥. Definitely recommend giving it a watch!

I can just imagine the shows writers running out of post it notes on how everything is supposed to be fitting together... Honestly, this show takes time travel to another level and leaves us at then end of season 2 with parallel universe lol. Hurry up season 3.
