The game improves every year as always, but there are still a couple of key hockey plays that are still just trash in the game, if not impossible. Improve these 3 things and the game will be 100 times more realistic. 1: Sauce passing. There is still no control to sauce a lead pass into an open area that you see a teammate streaking to. This would open the game wide open. The RT already sauces hard passes over sticks and through lanes, what does RB do exactly besides chipping off the boards to yourself.. it's worthless. 2: Clearing off the high glass. No controls for it whatsoever. No matter your angle or how close to the boards you are, you have a 95% chance of taking a delay of game penalty. It seems almost coded so that if you push those buttons, it finds the perfect angle to go straight over the glass, penalty. Even Ray Ferraro mentions that, "he is a professional hockey player, he should be able to chip it off the high glass." You're right Ray, I should be able to. Im fact this play happens about 100 times per game in the real NHL.. make it happen EA. 3: Tripping. You know, I know, everyone knows that touching a player's skates with your stick happens 1,000 times per game, and we don't even see 1% of the Superman flying penalties that we do in EASports. Most of the time the stick bounces right off the chin pad..
