Woke mafia lynch-attempts aside, this film is exceptional start to finish. Maddie, Kate, and Leslie all deliver A+ performances, the music--as expected--is better than anything being offered up by the pop world. The camerawork is mindful, the lighting is appropriate, the dialogue is witty, and it has a an ultra-satisfying conclusion that is utterly earned. Each character grows and develops throughout the film's modest runtime, and the story is as relatable as it is touching. Reasons people are criticizing this film:
1) They are mad that Maddie Ziegler is not autistic and have been criticizing it for months, long before they ever saw it.
2) They think it's the woke thing to do
3) They want to fit in
4) They don't want to miss the chance to bully a creative woman expressing herself without male restrictions
