Hand down one of the worst films I’ve seen. The story (a term I use very loosely) jumps around all over the place, and the film quickly turns into a disengaging mess.
Apparently their role is to protect humanity, but their excuse for not helping defeat Thanos is absurd and unconvincing. Considering this was covered so early in the film, this rather sets the tone for the drivel to come.
The monsters serve no real purpose and don’t add to the film in any way. It’s like the Director added them simply when she thought the film needed a few moments of graphically oversaturated action.
Salam Hayek is a very poor actress and her role/dialogue is this film is wooden and mediocre.
The supposed love story between 2 of the main characters lacks even an ounce of spark - there is zero chemistry and the scenes are worthy of the ffwd button.
The ridiculous attempt to cover so many diversity bases makes the film feel cobbled together to tick boxes, rather than a slick and cohesiveness project.
One thing you will appreciate is just how long this film feels when you are counting every second until it ends.
