The graphics are ok, nothing groundbreaking, could have been better with a little more artistry. It’s mindless fun, which can be good or bad depending on what mood you’re in. My opinion is that Master Blaster presents itself a greater challenge than the mind numbingly slow to act dictator’s cohorts— oh, and preparation is optional. The storyline is meh, which is upsetting because this aspect could have been compelling. Instead it left much to be desired, and turned the casting of Breaking Bad favorite Giancarlo Esposito into more of a gimmick; nothing like Michael Mando’s Vaas.
FC6 is just another money grab, another studio resting on its dusty laurels, with dusty corporate executives at the helm. Must we be surprised then, that FC6 is not only a copy & paste version of FC5, but also Just Cause which takes place in an identical setting? No.
Mediocrity in gaming is the new norm, shoved down our throats, with a smile our face, and nothing is changing until gamers unite. I dream of a day where an inspired generation of youth dares to take on Gaming Behemoths and infuse the industry with the next new & exciting thing. One thing is certain, nothing is going to get better when the only tools that exist are the ones running these companies.
