According to google, Steven Knight is the Program Creator. I don't know what responsibilities he carries with the job but something went wrong with this show. I'll start of with the six minute intro: I wish it had been different. The 40 seconds after would have been enough as we immediately enter the Iveagh House. Then to play Get Your Brits Out by Kneecap at 13:33 ruined it for me. Is this supposed to be a comedy? Something similar to Knife's out (I liked Knife's Out, nothing against it. But that movie chose to be what it is and stayed there)? I can't get the feel for the show. Is it supposed to be drama filled like Peaky Blinders? But where's the intensity? There is a disconnect between the editers, the writers, the actors, and the people who chose the music/soundtrack. I clearly went in with the expectation of this show being as good as the early seasons of The Crown and just as great as Peaky Blinders. However, I was met with a show that went with the same feel as the show Dickinson.
