Netflix should have warned us we were in for this epic of a journey! I’m thinking of Star Trek, Star Wars, LOTR and Hunger Games all at once for this film delivers such exceptional action, accompanied by a storyline that will pull your heart out and reveal what you are made of. “The Farmers, if we can call them that, the Warriors, and the heroic spirit assembled by this Village was crafted to inspire. If I watch it 20 times, I’ll still cry 20 times. The next film could very well be a box office hit in the theatre. I can’t think of any negative aspect. Once the action starts it absolutely NEVER stops. As for our stars, WOW all of you; when you screamed I screamed BRAVO!

This period drama is as complex and realistic as the Story of Minglan, with the allure of Nirvanna in Fire. There is intrigue, and mystery lurking in the shadows, while a very realistic rivalry of single ladies and gentleman is playing out center stage.

This drama features a Phenomenal diverse cast, realistic visual representation of the historic time period, and a suspenseful high intensity plot that commences at the very start of the show. It's a high quality production on all counts with intriguing multi dimensional characters that make for an even greater spectacle.

I've watched over 100 times and will continue to watch this flawless work of art! It's full of intrigue, and elegance. Hu Ge, Wang Kai, Liu Tao, Jin Dong, and Yujun Liu are among my favorites and they delivered far beyond my expectations. The Martial Arts scenes are a marvel alongside the intricate plot that gets deeper and deeper. It's a must watch. I'll not give away the plot, but what went on in the dark was brought to the light with precision and purpose; and the results!!!!!!!! Perrrrfectttttt!!!!!
