The movie was epic and cool!!! First of all a shoutout and applause to the technical team behind the movie.. Art Director: Thotta Tharani, DOP: Ravi Varman, Music and BGM: ARR and also kudos to the make up and costume designers... The 'story' is the king and the 'captain' is the director. Director Mani Ratnam sir has showcased and showed justice to the Novel written by Kalki Krishnamurthy sir... If Kalki sir was with us now, he must have praised Mani sir for the movie created. Star cast has shown great performance for the roles given to them. Let it be Vikram, Aishwarya Rai and Lekshmi, Trisha, Parthiben, Nasar, Lal, Prabhu, Karthik, Jayaram and all other Co stars everybody has done their part so well.. Here, story is the king hence Mani sir, without imjecting too much mass into the movie, he went according to the book. Mass performances were all suttle without any single character over doing anything. Even though Jayam Ravi performed well, ofcourse he's a good character, I felt instead of him an other actor would have performed a bit more better. That doesn't mean he didn't show justice to the character but still...... The way Ravi Varman captured frames in this movie was outstanding. He bought out all the beauty of the women characters in this movie. By focusing more on them.... Especially I loved the scene before interval where Vikram talks about the past and the camera was on him for good 5-7 minutes. Not only this there are 'N' number of other scenes as well. . ARR as usual has proved his music scores. Very well scored the bgm for the movie according to the pace of the movie.. Not concerned abt CGI or Vfx.. Proper hardcore Tamil language is used in the movie, hence subtitles helped me and I will again watch the Malayalam version as well. I heard dubbing for all the languages were perfect. Climax has been a bit confused and it concluded well for the 2nd part.. I haven't read the novel so far, hence I shall buy the Malayalam or English version and will read it.. **** Brilliant movie**** Eagerly waiting for the 2nd part and please please do not do a comparison with RRR, Bahubali or KGF.. This is purely story based and not action based... ❤❤❤❤❤

Film is very good to watch . Art Director deserves an 👏. I give a 5/5 star to him. Ofcourse Mahesh Narayan ji has done a good job with the script writing and cinematography. I think it's his first camera work. In that particular space provided shooting must have been a great and tough task. Ar Rahman ji once again with his bgm and sound designing and the songs. All went really well with the movie. And ofcourse the casting. Everyone has performed well for the characters provided to them. Specially during the interval I actually felt like an earthquake inside the theater. Watched it at Shenoys and it was my first experience post renovation. Amazing!!!.. Fafa sir, no need to mention, the movie is completely on and through him... His dedication is at its peak... Overall it was an experience.... Movie is jst 2 hours. One good thing about Mahesh ji is he never puts an add-on to the movie. . Jst goes with the subject. . Overall it's a good one to watch....❤👍🤟👏

I felt this movie was worth a watch. The first halfof the movie was fun.. Lulu Alex, Mallika Sukumaran, Sudheer Karamana, Kalabhavan Prajod and Siddique. The scenes until interval was really fun. Second half is when the time travel starts. We had Lal, Asif Ali and couple of other people playing their characters. Since, this was a court room drama the second half couldn't be connected with the first half. Why those characters came into picture, I had no clue. Or since Nivin Pauly as Swami was completely high on baang or Marijuana, am not sure about.... Was it his thought process that was going through this movie , am not very much clear about. . . I appreciate the effort put in by Nivin Pauly, Lulu Alex, Siddique and the actress in this movie. Movie had fun elements which kept us engaging. Second half, a person like me who doesn't not know much about time travel made me confused. But it's an excellent attempt by Abrid Shine. His movie making is a bit different compared to other movie makers. . Always something new comes up... Overall just for the fun and attempt with fantasies it's a decent one time watch...

നന്പകൽ നേരത്തെ മയക്കം: Mammooty's acting brilliance with Ljp's signature..... മമ്മൂക്കയുടെ സ്വന്തം പ്രൊഡക്ഷൻ കമ്പനി ആയ മമ്മൂട്ടിസ് കമ്പനികു അഭിനന്ദനങ്ങൾ... പോസ്റ്റ്‌ കോവിഡിന് ശേഷം മമ്മൂക്ക മൊത്തത്തിലേ കുറെ changes ആക്ടിങ് ക്യാരയർഇൽ കൊണ്ടുവന്നിട്ടുണ്ട്. ഭയങ്കര ചൂസിയായിട്ടുണ്ട് അതും പോരാഞ്ഞിട്ട് സ്ക്രിപ്റ്റ് സെലക്ഷനിൽ best ആണ് ഇപ്പൊ. പോസ്റ്റ്‌ മമ്മൂട്ടി കമ്പനി പ്രൊഡക്ഷൻ സ്റ്റാർട്ട്‌ ആയപ്പോൾ തൊടുന്നതൊക്കെ പൊന്നാകിട്ടുണ്ട്. ഇതുപോലെ ലാലേട്ടനും ചൂസി ആയാൽ പിന്നെ എല്ലാം ബാക്ക് to ട്രാക്ക് ആകും.. നന്പകൽ നേരത്തെ മയക്കം ഒരു നല്ല സിനിമ ആണ്. By default ഇതൊരു Ljp മൂവി ആണ് അതുകൊണ്ട് തന്നെ നമ്മൾ ഇത് കാണുമ്പോൾ നമ്മുടെ മനസ്സ് എന്ത് മനസിലാകുന്നുവോ അതാണ്‌ ഈ സിനിമ. എങ്ങനെ വേണമെങ്കിലും ഈ സിനിമയെ വ്യാഖ്യാണിക്കാം.. അതുകൊണ്ടാണ് Ljp is considered to be a ബ്രാൻഡഡ് ഡയറക്ടർ with his making സ്കിൽസ്. പുള്ളിയുടെ സിനിമ art form ആണ് more than commercial... ഒത്തിരി പേരുണ്ട് ഈ സിനിമയിൽ പക്ഷെ എലാരും ഒപ്പത്തിനൊപ്പം അഭിനയിച്ചു.. No bgm's just illlayaraja and couple of other music ഡയറർക്ടോഴ്സിന്റെ സംഗീതം ആണ് ഇതിന്റെ bgm that too with permission of these music legends.. ഇതിലെ കഥ ഞാൻ എന്റെ ഒരു വേർഷൻ ഉണ്ട് അതുപോലെ ആണ് കണ്ടവർക്കൊക്കെ തോന്നിയത് പിന്നെ ചിലർക്ക് മനസിലാവില്ല പക്ഷെ അത് അവരുടെ പ്രശ്നം അല്ല കാരണം story telling അല്ല. Its more of ഇമോഷൻസ്.. ഇമോഷൻസ് explore ചെയ്യാൻ പറ്റാറ്റാവർക്കു ഇത് ഒരു ബോറിങ് അല്ലെങ്കിൽ ഉറക്കം തൂങ്ങാൻ പോസ്സിബിലിറ്റി ഉണ്ട്... Its just മമ്മൂക്ക, മമ്മൂക്ക and മമ്മൂക്ക പോസ്റ്റ്‌ തന്നിയാവർത്തനം, ഭൂതകണ്ണാടി etc etc... ഈ സിനിമ കാണാണ്ടിയതാണ്... Rating: 4/5

Movie is just ok ok kind.... I felt like Nyla Usha shouldn't have been casted because her previous film ' Porinju Mariyam ' from the same director ' Joshiy sir ' she had a character to perform and she performed really well. In thus I felt she had nothing much to perform.. If you ask me whether it's Suresh Gopi's return , I don't think so , because the fire inside him like the previous Cop movies, here there wasn't much dialogues to perform more of it was emotions and family something like ' Kaaval ' movie. ' Kaaval had more dialogues than this.. But everyone has shown a good performance according to the story and screenplay. Didn't feel any lag as such... Even Gokul Suresh, Nandu, and the lady police officer, Asha Sharreth... They showed justice for their characters according to the story.... I felt Shammi Thilakan had shown a good performance in this movie... Even though it's U/A certified, there are no abusive languages in this movie. It's more of bloodshed and killing.. Its a crime thriller kinda movie and 2hrs 56 mins could have been cut short to 2 hour 30 mins.... Bgm was ok and also I felt here and there , it had an ' Anchaam Pathira ' effect, the kind of killing and the bgm also. I rate it a 3/5 and it's ofcourse family watchable...🙂👍

തങ്കം: നല്ല ഇൻവെസ്റ്റിഗറ്റീവ് ത്രില്ലെർ പക്ഷെ ക്ലൈമാക്സ്‌ പോരാ... ഈ സിനിമ ഞാൻ കാണാൻ പോയത് രണ്ടു കാരണങ്ങൾ.. ഭാവന സ്റ്റുഡിയോസ് and ശ്യാം പുഷ്കരൻ. ശ്യാം ജിയുടെ പേരാണ് ഇതിന്റെ ഹൈലൈറ്റ്.. കണ്ണൻ, മുത്ത്‌ പിന്നെ മുത്തിന്റെ കൂട്ടുകാരൻ പിന്നെ എടുത്ത പറയേണ്ട ആളാണ് ഗിരീഷ് കുൽകർണി.. ഗിരീഷ് കുൽകർണി വരുന്നത്തോടെ പുള്ളി ആണ് ഈ സ്റ്റോറി ഇന്ട്രെസ്റ്റിംഗ് ആയി കൊണ്ടുപോകുന്നത്. വിനീത് ശ്രീനിവാസൻ ഒന്നും പറയാനില്ല, മുകുന്ദനുണ്ണി അസോസിയേറ്റസിന് ശേഷം അടുത്തത് ഈ സിനിമ ആണ്.. ആ കൊടുത്ത characterinu ഇത്ര കോൺഫിഡന്റ് ആയിട്ടു ചെയ്തതിനു അഭിനന്ദനങ്ങൾ.. പിന്നെ ബിജുമേനോൻ എന്നത്തേയും പോലെ സ്ക്രീൻ പ്രെസെൻസ്, ചിരി, ക്യൂട്ടേനെസ്സ്, ഇമോഷൻസ് ഒക്കെ സൂപ്പർ ആയിട്ടുണ്ട്.. പിന്നെ മുത്തിന്റെ കൂട്ടുകാരൻ ആയി വന്ന ആ കഥാപാത്രം ( character പേര് മറന്നു പക്ഷെ പുള്ളിയുടെയും actual പേര് വിനീത് എന്നാണ് ). പുള്ളി and മുത്തിന്റെ ആ കെമിസ്ട്രി സെറ്റ് ആയിരുന്നു. അപർണ ബാലമുരളി കൊള്ളാമായിരുന്നു പക്ഷെ as an other റിവ്യൂർ said national award ആ മുഖട്ടുണ്ട് പക്ഷെ വേറെ ഒരു actress ആയിരുന്നെങ്കിൽ അല്ലെങ്കിൽ ന്യൂ face ആണെങ്കിൽ കുറച്ചു കൂടി ok ആരെന്നേനെ.. സിറ്റുവേഷൻ അനുസരിച്ചു ഇമോഷൻസ് അത്ര വന്നില്ല... എന്തായാലും ok ആയിരുന്നു.. അത്രേ ഉള്ളൂ... Good bgm, one good song, nice cinematography, ofcourse good direction but screenplay lost its beauty towards climax.. ഇതിന്റെ ക്ലൈമാക്സ്‌ ഒരു ട്വിസ്റ്റ്‌ പോലും ഇലായിരുന്നു.. അത്ര നേരം engaging ആക്കിയ ഒരു സിനിമ ക്ലൈമാക്സ്‌ ഒട്ടും യോജിച്ചില്ല... സാദാ ക്ലൈമാക്സ്‌ ആയി പോയി അത് ഞാൻ Shyamjiyude അടുത്ത് നിന്ന് expect ചെയ്തില്ല.. കുറച്ചു കൂടി strong ക്ലൈമാക്സ്‌ ആയിരുന്നെങ്കിൽ possibly ഇതും വേറെ level പടം ആയേനെ... Overall 4/5 .....

Turned out to be a classic movie. Rajeev Ravi- One name is more than enough for this movie. Technical side of the movie is to the top notch. Special mention to the cinematography ( director himself ), art director: Gokul Das and all others behind the scenes.. Acting @poornimaindrajith @nimisha_sajayan @thesudevnair @arjun_ashokan @darshanarajendran @nivinpaulyactor @jojugeorgeactorofficial @indrajith_s and new faces and everybody else showed an amazing performance throughout this movie. @jojugeorgeactorofficial as usual superb. Superb!!!! Don't know why it took an year to come up in theaters but still it's the best... ❤️❤️❤️❤️
