i didn't like Grandpa Joe and tbh, at the beginning I sort of thought Charlie was a sh#tty kid too. Buttt at the end, I still didn't like Grandpa Joe (which sucks because in Charlie and the Chocolate Factory - sorry to compare the two but- these characters were much more like able). I hate the mom.
Overall, I shed a tear at the end at least, I don't know whether that's because I've been feeling very emotional lately or just because it was a touching ending. I give 3 stars for 'meh'. I'd give it 2.5, but i don't know if I can.
