Take it for what it is and you won't be disappointed....someone's idea of the story behind a famous picture. I agree with other posts, while Michael Shannon's acting was well done, he did not look like Elvis and I had a hard time with that part.

Great show and great music. Really get to see Riley Keough act.....she IS Daisy.

Colin Farrell is excellent in this period piece, but the film is so dark and gloomy that you just keeping thinking....hoping....at least one small good thing would happen. I disagree that this film deserves all the high praise and awards it was been nominated for or won.

I agree with the positive reviews below, such as the one from Natrhnoor Noor. It's a funny, silly, and entertaining movie with some beautiful scenery. Sandler and Anuston have great and believable chemistry. If you're looking for a fun, light-hearted comedy then you will enjoy watching this movie. If you're looking for great writing and serious mystery, this isn't for you and you should choose a different movie.
