Ok, this is a great film. Don't get me wrong. But reading the manga before seeing this makes it kinda disappointing. They cut out so much story and content, including main events in the love story between Kei and Kaneda, as well as Akira himself. The change in plot is interesting, but I think the movie would have been better if it stayed with the same plot as the manga. Great movie, recommend people should watch it but for manga readers like me don't expect much.

The movie was hilarious, but that isn't the reason I loved it. Yesterday made me understand a little of what was so great about the Beatles, and personally I'm not really into them. But that wasn't the best thing either. The biggest things about the movie is that it shows the importance of telling the truth, and that some things that make our lives better made things worse for the people behind those things.
