This was obviously well acted, directed, etc. but mostly enjoyed an idea that seemed fresh, which is getting more and more difficult to do over time. There were so many fun angles coming at you, was constantly entertained. I think I even had a tear once.

Could have been one of the biggest, most memorable series - and not just for playing games with its biggest fans.

Extremely riveting story, great acting, directing, etc. Everything a binge fan could ask for. Production and cinematography is 5 stars but just a tad short overall. It's comforting knowing the author is in on this, otherwise seeing how she creates these enormous worlds of layered metaphor wouldn't be the same as knowing someone else was attempting to do it for her.

Just watched the pilot and really enjoyed that, but reserving the right to change my mind if the first season doesn't keep pace with the opener. Pretty good acting, directing, and story line so far. Too bad it wasn't actually shot at OBX, NC (was filmed in SC instead because of absurd NC bathroom gender laws). Still, this seems like the NextFlix binge for me. Need more sharks... and a bigger boat.

Have seen worse movies (OK, 5-10 minutes of worse movies), Would rather eat Skyline Chili, that's how bad this was, but the first 15 minutes are watchable. After that, just turn it off and choke down the chili. It really is less gross and more entertaining.

iamshaka1's "review" was filled with personal opinion and nothing based on nor backed up by fact. His annoying diatribe - which got worse and worse and he/she ranted on about acting skills, as if it has any clue whatsoever - made me feel the need to respond with my own comments. First, the direction, cinematography, writing, and story line are absolutely fantastic! Second, every single actor does a great job at being believable. Third and lastly, this is of the fantasy genre and believability of the story itself cannot be held accountable, but the series is totally engrossing, entertaining, and fun to watch. Recommend "Locke & Key(house)" overwhelmingly to all fans of the fantasy, sci fi, and horror genres but also to anyone who just likes an extremely well-made and spellbinding series :)

If this is anything like the movie that played inside my head (while reading the novel), it can't possibly miss!

Eli Roth is a genius, and there seem to be a lot of jealousy out there about this man. Every movie I've watch that Roth directed was riveting and highly entertaining. There is also a moral, but it seems to spin and flare out in different directions. Maybe this is what is confusing to the less intelligent and/or perceptive audience. Sexy, terrifying, and funny at times. A true masterpiece!

The "professional" critics seem to have a great deal of jealousy or a severe case of hemophobia. Green Inferno started out like a B movie, but got better and better as it progressed. Excellent story, moral, effects, and believability IMO. Had to look away a few times, but this is one awesome shock flick!
