I've looked forward to this movie for so long. Honestly, I was disappointed. While the animation of the scenes itself was immaculate, and the VAs unmatched. The movie itself was lacking. I'm a die hard Haikyu fan. I've watched the series, OVAs, and the recap movies more times then I'd like to admit. I've also read the Manga. This did not live up to the hype. As everyone else has already stated it was incredibly and unnecessarily rushed (in a sense that lots was left out), especially considering they had more than enough time to do it well. It would've been better as a series. While the pacing of the actual movie was good, as in, it was fast enough to keep you entertained, it left me feeling underwhelmed. What an anticlimatic way to end off such a stunningly written piece of art. I hope they do better with the next one. 🙏🏽

Physical 100 is the modern-day Gladiator! It is insane. Mad respect to the participants for pushing it to the max. If I'm honest I was super emotional at the end of S2. I felt Beom-Seok's pain for real. Thanks to the production crew for delivering on the games. Congrats to Amotti! The man's a beast.

Maybe I didn't get it, but I just feel like as the season went on the writing for the show got worse. Especially with musical and animated bits. The first 2 or 3 seasons we great, anything after that was ... awful. I'll give it a three because the first 2 seasons didn't suck.

I liked it. I thought the series was very insightful and emotional. The actresses also did an amazing job of portraying their characters. Very believable. If you have ever experienced any of the topics addressed in the series, I would highly recommend watching it with someone, as it could be triggering.

A very endearing movie. Highly recommend. It reminded me a little of Rio and Coco. A lot of fun and great music.
