Mfuneko Toyana

The premise is potentially gripping. Hard to beat catching serial killers. But downhill from the good idea. Dialogue is empty and does zero to either move the plot along or deepen interest in the characters. The supporting cast is especially wooden - just there to sigh, look agitated and ask Micki inane questions. The insights into the killers is forgettable, you won’t remember any of it once the credits roll. In all a missed opportunity.

Goes from bad to worse to absolutely terrible within the first 10 minutes

Absolutely terrible. Unconvincing characters and the stakes make zero sense. Long montages to substitute for weak script. The sting in the tale ending is farcical

An awful mess of a movie. You keep hoping it will get better but it never does. The characters are two dimensional and generic and the story makes little sense. It’s a plot hole inside a black hole wrapped in bad bad script.

Promises much, delivers very little. MC delivers as Rick Snr otherwise forgettable
