I honestly went into this film with high hopes because I am a huge David Bowie fan, as well as my mother and we just love everything about his music and movies and everything. But watching this film was so awful, the story just didn't make any sense to me, it didn't use any of David Bowie's original music, which I understand because they weren't given the rights, but c'mon, if you can't get some original music in there I would have just stopped. Nothing in this entire movie convinced me that I was seeing into David Bowie's life. Non of it made sense, half the things he was doing just didn't feel like something David Bowie would do and the actors just didn't make it feel right. Movies like Bohemian Rhapsody, Rocketman, and even Yesterday just feel really good to explain the lives of Queen, Elton John and The Beatles, but this movie just didn't make me feel any connections to the life of David Bowie. So I honestly have to give this movie a 1 star and I honestly don't recommend it to others.
