The movie drowns any resemblance of social commentary in the violence, and, ironically, the only character that isn't properly explained is the main character. Krystal apparently works at a car dealership (as she herself says) yet she had the hand-to-hand combat and weapons training of a soldier. She can shrug off fatal wounds and her pain tolerance is completely unrealistic. She's painted as a normal person by her very sparse backstory but her actions during the movie are completely superhuman. It's completely unbalanced and ridiculous, and the movie just tries to force it to seem realistic. I would not recommend wasting time watching this movie.
