The movie was decent but left me wanting more. The messages of the movie were good and character development of Fujino was a good sight but overall the ceiling for the movie simply wasn't that high. A good 6-7/10 movie with some good messages and character development but the pace and short length of movie seems like it's big flaw

Really amazing movie. Good plot and sub-plot, the adventure bit was really fun and the characters are really likeable. It is Makoto Shinkai's work so obviously it will be asthetically pleasing and it stimulates your senses like all his movies do. There are lots to like in the movie and it is highly recommended for people who are getting into animes. It is one of the movies which is show scattered dots and then connect them beautifully, which is something worth watching for.

Visually stunning, well placed, has a very interesting concept and in all is the best animated movie I have ever seen. Such a gorgeous film that can defined by no words, even the word perfection would be an understatement for this masterpiece. The music or score is out of this world as well. Not a single flaw in this film.

Worst Movie Experience Ever. Absolutely boring, downright horrible movie. The only thing that was scary... well was the acting. It feels like it is trying very hard to copy from Hollywood but fails miserably. Story was silly if you think about it as it focused on why it is important for prevention of birth of demon's son and when he is born.... He isn't even a demon's son. The whole plot right there. Scenes were not scary at all and reliance on jump scares was poorly executed. Best part about the movie was exiting the hall though why I didn't leave at interval still baffles me.
