I hated this movie a lot. The dialogue was awkward. It felt like there were lots of awkward cuts between scenes. (Also, I don’t think that’s what chi is???) I don’t understand how this was so awful.

Although the animation was stellar, the storyline was lacking and the script fell flat. The only thing I wanted to see were the Pokemon, not the humans. The BBEG’s motive was not well fleshed out and they also shoved a lot of ‘moral lessons’ into the script which felt patronising?
