With the devastating events of Avengers: Infinity War, it really put the our heroes we all love in a terribly tough situation. Before i carry on, SPOILER ALERT. This review contains quite a few of them, so I suggest leaving now if you HAVEN'T seen the movie. Marvel has, and still is a big part of my childhood. With 11 years, 23 movies, I would have NEVER even thought it would get to were it is now, but now, with the tragic death of Tony and Nat and Steve living the happy life he always wanted, the movie franchise I loved is finally coming to an end.
Now for the actual review.
I really loved how the movie and the events that played out, such as the time travel scenes and the fight scenes, Marvel didn't over complicate ANYTHING. I also love the relationships between all of the characters. Thor and Valkerie, Nebula and Rocket, Steve and Peggy, Hawkeye and Natalie and most importantly Tony and Pepper. I laughed, cried and got overly excited with the rest of the audience. Nothing seemed stale and repetitive, which is really surprising to see in a 3 hour long movie. There was a nice balance of comedy and action along with surprising and unique events. Its pretty obvious I LOVED the movie and it was easily the best MCU movie. I also love how they let Steve live the life he has always wanted, and how Clint gets to live his life with his family. As good as the movie was, there are also some down sides, as no movie, or in fact anything is truly perfect. Don't worry though, there aren't many. First of, why Marvel did you have to make Tony's death so devastating?!?! I cried all the water in my eyes out. It was really a sad moment and I would definitely prefer if they kept him alive, retired being Iron Man and lived his life with his Daughter and Pepper. I also disliked the way how rushed the beginning of the movie was. It was nice and all, but I think it should have played out a bit slower. And finally I HATED Thor in this movie. It was funny, but I would have loved normal Thor or even the one from the past. Thats really how far it goes for downs!
This is really the movie we all wanted. This movie ended the Avengers in a really smooth and easy going way, no over complications and no parts where I got confused. It was a really well developed, well thought out and really interesting movie. Even for the non-marvel fans out there, I say give it a try, you never know it, could be a good one. With Spiderman Far From Home, teased Black Panther 2, Captain Marvel 2, Thor 4 and much more, these characters wont really collide as the avengers did. Thanks Avengers for the sad, frighting, hilarious and best 23 movies of my life.
