It's okay, but definitely room for improvement. Story wise, is good. Game play wise is agony.
You get hit and Laylee picks the WORST possible area to freak out, areas you as the player can't even get to (I understand she is supposed to freak out but at least make it fair).
A lot of the platforming is too far spaced and, referring back to the previous comment, if you don't have Laylee you don't really have any jumps so you have to start the area over (die).
Hit boxes are WAY off. Trying to twirl on a red quil, tail smack boxes/enemies or even the platforming becomes frustrating after a while because the hit boxes are tiny tiny in this game, you die a lot.
The same unskippable cutscene after every collected bee. Very repetitive after 48 times.
There was some good, the music I did find enjoyable and even danced to a little bit! Some of the side character's are pretty cute and if you like dad jokes and puns there's plenty.
It's not being ridiculously picky or anything, just seeing this game and thinking of another indie platformer like Hollow Knight and the differences in quality just baffle me.
