Found it fascinating that Archie wore a facade for the world - Cary Grant - to survive a sad childhood which affected his relationships throughout his life. Doesn't quite show how talented an actor he was but I found it revealing.

Black humour but somehow funny.

Great fun, old fashioned on some levels but woven with issues of racial prejudice and women's rights. It was enjoyable, funny, serious and rooted in well rounded characters ably brought to life by great acting. I really enjoyed it.
